Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS: Mac Transporter-Talking Version (UPDATE!)
Thanks for the heads up, “Moe” and “Boots.”
They have spotted and photographed the TALKING MACK TRANSPORTER with Bug Mouth McQueen!
Press the hat and he “talks.”
And yes, the Bug Mouth McQueen is the Mattel diecast 1:55 version so if you have been holding an open spot open for him, here’s your chance.
Is it John Raztenberger’s voice? Maybe not as “Stop Moving Around Up There” is not a phrase from the movie – I also believe Mack does not actually say, “Honk!”
MOE UPDATE – It has an air horn honking, Engine starting and says Piston cup here we come, and Stop fooling around up there and yes it is John’s voice.
So, that’s nice and an UPDATE FROM BOOTS … The FULL list of phrases includes:
This is the one scenario where I want the international version. I want to press the hat and hear him say in Greek or Russian, “California, Here We Come!” ๐
It is a WM exclusive – $19.95
Where, O where is the vinyl side version?
And or – was this shipped back in October but sitting in gardening?
Thanks for the nice info & pics, “Moe” and “Boots.”
A little off topic, but what happened to the Hi and Low Ramone in the Mega-Size?????? He was listed in the spiral catalog…
If it were the new trailer with the vinyl sides that talked, I’d consider it. If they cut the price to $9.99, I’ll consider it. For now, I’m going to pass. Too many other Cars items out and coming out that I want to buy.
I didn’t see that coming lol ….. Now if I could find my old comment. I don’t think they will try anything new and inventive. Just copy old ideas.
Neat idea, but that model is tired, overdone, and WAY overpriced.
Just what we needed! LOL!!!
Japanese version voice would be better, then it could be used with the Tokyo Mater stuff!
Mattel…you’re losing me…seriously…stop it.
I just came back from my 24 hour WM because this is the time they do the stocking. Some how they sold a bit of LAME cars over the holidays. Still nothing new on the shelfs. They did have that “Ninja Knockout” set from Tokyo Mater that I saw posted here. It came 3 to a case. I did my usual cleanup of the pegs routine and left. Oh, I also found a Lightning McQueen Lightyear Launcher. First time I’ve seen one. Given the amount of Lightnings that deck the pegs I was surprised he wasn’t more available in the launcher form.
Nice but I feel Mattel is really stretching things here, I wonder how popular these will be?
