Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS: Rescue Squad Mater Playset
There is a new Rescue Squad Mater playset – strange this did not arrive before the Mater the Greater one … it does contain the mystery megasize ambulance with opening doors – so that’s nice.
I don’t have one opened but I imagine both included CARS are all plastic – but we all await your verdict – if you get one and open, let us know! 🙂

opening doors on ambulance are cool … the rest is lame..
It’s actually about 1/16 inch shorter in height than the CT MS version. Pics sent to Met earlier today, should be posted for an update sometime tomorrow.
Playsets are SO expensive here…
it is the same here. it is kind of funny that a bunch of plastic costs so much to manufacture but a solid metal diecast is so cheap.
Playsets cost a lt of money here in Germany as well as single cars, but the toons playsets as well as the toons cars are not even available here.
My son will love to have an ambulance with opening doors. Every time he plays with the other ambulance, he asks me why the doors don’t open.
I hope that’s not just for “show”. So many Cars graphics don’t match the actual Car, I wouldn’t be surprised if the doors do not open.
