Lenticular 2.0 CARS feature a new mini poster (there are no posters included in the Final Lap CARS):
I’m not sure why Kathy Copter, Ron Hover or Dexter Hoover are part of “Team 95” while … on the back, McQueen, Doc & Leak Less are part of the “Piston Cup” category and Pit Crew Guido & Saege are part of the “Wrench” grouping? And how come Richard Clayton Kensington is part of the “Lightyear Blimp” category in the megasize?

It is totally there fault for the tree destruction in our country!
Is it me or do the pics of those cars look like normal eye cars with the ‘lenticular’ effect added?

Hi everyone, just to say that i don’t like either this lenticular line but it’s Pit Crew Sarge #116 already out? I guess this will be the only one i will buy if they’re not make a normal dieCast one.

Met, isn’t it time to do a recap of the year that was? Race O Rama. Like your great recap of World of Cars. Its been a confusing one, with all the new three four and five packs, lenticulars introduction, cancelled promos. Chase classic cars in lenticular cases. Final Lap, Carstoons. Martin’s transfer. I have wondered if there is one person in charge at Mattel who directs the Cars line, or is it a committee?
“Hello Disney, hello Pixar!” nods from China, “What do you wanna make today?” “I know!” says China, “lets make lots of Gask-its and Tach-O-Mints – that’s what everyone wants!” Nahhhh says Disney – I agree says Pixar…lets make a new poster/insert showing off those lenticular cars, with stupid eyes, that NO collector really wants – the ones that we got away with in getting MOM’s to buy for their 2 year olds, who haven’t even seen the movie yet! More “look at my stupid eyes as they change” with more plastic parts and less die-cast metal – MORE MCQUEENS!!!” Afterall, we don’t have to release the good stuff, these stupid consumers will just keep buying these up – and then, when sales slow down, we’ll just change the packaging design/color – they’ll buy’em up!!! These people are like Star Wars and Star Trek fans, they’ll gobble’em all up with their hard earned bucks! Just wait till next summer with our new line of lenticular tail/head lights – looks like the lights come on and off when you move the car!” lol
Seriously folks these lenticular cars are STUPID!!! Plus, now on the newer released ones, it looks like they have FOUR EYES instead of TWO…kind of creepy!
“NO collector really wants” Are you really sure? My son and I collect them and so do many others. I think because the same few people who feel the need to complain (I’m being nice when I use the word complain) every time there is a posting about Lenticulars, people here get the impression ALL collectors don’t like them. Like I’ve said before, all the collectors I met at the Kmart CARS day were buying them. Very strange how people on this site get upset over TOYS.

I liked the lightning storm and mac posters better…wish they did more.
