Disney Pixar: ABC Family “Pixar Shorts” & ABC “Prep & Landing”
ABC is airing a new original Disney Animation special exec produced by John Lasseter … airing tomorrow night, TUESDAY, December 8, 2009.
Prep & Landing is the story of two elves who are Santa’s advance team in prepping houses for the arrival of the Big Red one. Dave Foley is one of the elves and Sarah Chalke plays his boss so great voice talent!

We enjoyed this little special, but wish it could have been longer…here it was on after Charlie Brown, which is a TRUE CLASSIC!!!
We watched this tonight. It was cute, but lacked the appeal of the 1960’s classics.

I recorded the Pixar special on ABC family last week – the kids and I enjoyed watching all the shorts! I did have to FF through a couple that weren’t appropriate for my kids, but all-in-all it was amazing to see how far Pixar has come.
Personally was disappointed in the new MTT – UFM. Mator was cute, but I don’t think it was as inspired as the previous tales. Also I’m hoping they don’t use that cartoon as an excuse to print more Cactus Mcqueens! 🙂
I did like the Close Encounters and Empire Strikes Back references, though!

I don’t, either. I’ve never seen a Pixar production of any kind that ANY kid couldn’t watch.
