Thats hwt my TRUs look like before i buy everything, LOL
That looks nothing the TRU in Perth Australia. I could do the 4000km drive but the wife would probably leave me or kill me.
Met, I would not say that about ca tru’s.I have been to lots of stores in my area and they all look like that.the one tru by me looks better then that.
Looks like another of Mater’s cousins in the upper right corner!
I almost fainted on Monday when I ran into Kohls and saw Cannonball Mater and all of the MTT Singles on their pegs!!!
I know – lately Kohl’s has had some decent inventory! Last week the Fiber Fuel, Mood Springs, Easy Idle launchers. This week they had about 6 Gil haulers, toons, Frank megasize, Showgirls, etc.
My kohls is the same way. The other day they had 8 Gil’s 6 Nitorade Haulers and all the MTT stuff.
My TRU did look like this one a couple weeks ago but I havent been back recently.
Also got the Dinoco crew chielf set for 10.99 because it was on the shelf in the 3-pack spot so the guy at Target said he would give it to me for that price.
I ran into Kohl’s yesterday to grab Aiden some sweat pants — they had CARS stuff everywhere ! There were 2 entire sections on a shelf unit filled, and the guy was unpacking and entire stockroom cart with those lovely cardboard boxes with the purple stripe – easily 50 haulers – including Nitroade and Gil ! Launchers, mini’s … everything. I actually grabbed a Mood Springs launcher since we don’t have one, and the Mini’s – Cactus McQueen & red rims Doc.
I NEED AN UPDATE ABOUT THE DOUBLE MOVIE! Met Help me!

At one TRU recently, I bought a Ramone Movie Double for $1.16…how could I knot at that price?? BUT the Lightning Movie Doubles, on the SAME peg, were knot on sale???
If this is a dream, that pizza didn’t agree with me…I’m seeing Lenticulars on the shelves.
Bring it on!!! I accept the challenge to FIND that store and take it home!

Question- Are Skip Ricter and Chuck Manifold supposed to be the same model of car? Skip is much smaller than Chuck, so just curious. If so why are we paying more for less? Thanks.
(MET: While they are very similar, they are actually two different molds … and while there will always be some increases with a successful line, the reason for the huge price jump this past year can actually be mostly attributed to metal commodity increases and the lead law supervision …).
My darn eyes just ain’t what they used to be….. can anyone help me out by telling me what the set with flo, mater, doc etc is next to the tractor tippin set please…I doubt a third of this stuff will ever make it TRU in the UK, I need the details to search on slease bay later on and hopefully find someone who can charge me through the nose for it…
It’s the “Dirt Pack Challenge” or something to that effect – they have a 5 pack with Mater, Doc, Dirt Track Mcqueen, Ramone, and Flo and a another variation with Sally instead of Mater. I believe they retail for about $21 in stores.

Sadly e-bay sellers have let me down and not doubled the price…seems only a $5 margin is being made + of course shipping..truly gutted I won’t have to overpay that much..Thanks for your help, if you need anything from the UK let me know.
