Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS: Fat, Wide or Thin – Who Can Remember What Pitty is What?
When it comes to Pitty’s – only THIN is easy to figure out …
But we have an official confirmation from Pixarpedia.
And the word on WIDE is …
THIN
The great Take Five Pitty’s created by hand by Nathaniel Binns. Original Post & Ordering Info HERE.
this is the first real dilemma i have for opener car collection. Even for the semis, I accept as they look a bit different with the haulers one.
but as for these fat wide thin pitty, my thoughts are
1. they have no specific name
2. each teams have the exact same pitty without any different, except the color
3. its expensive having to buy the box set (considering 36 teams!)
Met whats your opinion?
(MET: It’s your call – and certainly understandable – whatever is reasonable to you is okay with me 🙂 … ).
ummmm….Collect them All (Contest Entry for Met’s Opinion)
hehe, yeah, thats the most-used-slogan here, gonna collect them all 🙂
Until the new ones came out I have never seen a fat pitty in the wild and thought for the longest time the girl/new pitty’s were wide.
Afterall the 2 newest I got were wide, all the classic pitties thin.
What IS politically correct when discussing the “girth” of today’s pit crew pittys?
Are WIDE pittys “Globally challenged”?
“Equatorally challenged”? (Wide in the middle like the earth?)
They are SUPER Sized!
I always thought of them as Wide/Fat, Tall and “Short”.
Why do they say that the mustache look ridiculous? I always thought it was awesome that the whole Chick team wears them (besides his chief)!
The mustache grills rock! (Chick is mean, but I think he is cool too. Cars would have been very boring without him)
Righteous!
The one on the left is in the middle, and the one in the middle is in between, and the one on the right is all together now….
No junk in the trunk jokes…?
…Can’t wait for the Super-sized pitty!
yeah.. weird. I would have thought the above wide pitty to be fat pitty… but I’ll take Pixar’s word 🙂
exactly . . . I mean the FAT pitty would be the plump ROUND one, right? Wide should be just that . . . wider than thin . . who knew?!?!
Darn, the Not Chuck design is the first speaking pitty in the movie.
I always considered him the regular pitty, like Roswell said in the first post.
its time for a poll …. 😛
Ah…. Small, Medium and Large…
Or if you are in the food service industry… someone will no doubt order up a “regular”!!!!!!!
he’s not fat,just husky…
It’s just reserve muscle, guys!
hes not fat , just stocky …
I agree. Who decided that he should be called ‘Fat’? He should ‘Regular’ Pitty or at the worst be ‘Stocky’ Pitty. Has he been referrered to as ‘Fat’ on any packaging?
WIDE, FAT, THIN…
WIDE, FAT, THIN…
WIDE, FAT, THIN…
MUST remember these when I go on Cars Jeopardy!
You mean…What is WIDE, FAT, THIN??
What happened to “tough guy”?
hmmmmm…..so my daddy wood be HUGE Pitty!!! heeheee He is strong like a forklift…I mean Pitty!
considering the slimest pitty is thin, and the biggest pitty is wide,
wouldnt it be easier to make the fat pitty just ‘regular pitty’?
Hush! You’re making too much sense.
When you consider the fact that Mattel seems to be based in bizarro-land, the fact that Wide Pitty is fatter than Fat Pitty makes perfect sense!
