Yep, 4 “Kmart-Only” rubber tire CARS …
The case contents looked like this …
Well, today, the weird turned pro … “Nikko” bought this case at another store …
18 CARS, check.
4 Skip Ricter’s? Check.
1 Fabulous Hudson Hornet? Check.
2 Brand New Mater’s? 2? Only supposed to be one but okay …
8 Blowing Bubbles Mater. Check … um, wait a minute!
And the other 4 CARS?
Yep, more Kmart-only rubber tires Piston Cup racers in a Target Final lap box …
So, after two FINAL LAP TARGET boxes, “Nikko” has 4 of the 7 KMART Piston Cup racers 🙂 (and the right amount of Blowing Bubbles Mater in two boxes from TWO different stores – It’s the Ghostlight! Someone called Jennifer Love Hewitt!)
And someone else in the Bay area got a Target box that had Leak Less with rubber tires so I guess there are boxes of TARGET FINAL LAP CARS with N20 Colas and Vinyl Toupee?
Case Assortment is supposed to be:

I called the Target closest to us yesterday. They had them in the back and pulled them out. The guy asked me which ones I wanted. I’m just getting the new ones for my son…he pulled them out, but when I asked if he could hold them for me, he said the weren’t supposed to do that. I told him I was coming then and it would be about 10 minutes, so he said he would keep them out for me. He didn’t let me look at the box, so I don’t know if it was correct, but there weren’t any racers because I asked about those.
I’ve also seen Kmart Day 2’s in Target as well. 😀
i hope they mess up and foget to put lenticular cars in the kmart cases.
makes you wonder when october 11th rolls around and they look for there stock to put out someones gonna be fired
I found 2 cases in Holyoke Massachusetts over the weekend. I did not purchase both cases but I did get to look inside and both were packed correctly. As far as I can see there are 1,224 cases and I have #272 out of 1,224.
what store in denver? have they put them on the shelf yet? thanks
When I looked in the computer at the store, all the stores in the front range had at least one box,(showing 18 on hand as of 09/28), with the Glendale and Aurora mall stores showing 54 on hands. But most stores are adhering to the 10/11 store set and not allowing them to be put on the shelves until then. Good luck asking to be pulled from backroom as the team member who does sell them could get in huge trouble selling something before the release date.

They arrived in Denver! I was able to go through two cases and get the new ones and even two variants… Polly with a King packaging and Brand New Mater with Blowing Bubbles Mater packaging. It pays to work for Target.

I haven’t found any final lap cars in Modesto (100 miles east of the Bay Area).
Wow!!! Guess I should have read this before the pitties one. Like I said, quality control has been laid off! But not such a bad thing. What a score nikko!!! Isn’t that case like the holy grail of cars? All the new final lap cars plus most of the KMart racers – insane!
My final lap case bought here in SD had the correct contents and were priced at $4.99 each.
Outrageously overpriced, Target knows they have a monopoly on these.
I’m also in SD, and also my case had the right contents. Which Target did you find them at? I found them at Poway.
Also in SD and the case I located was packed correctly.
The Kmart site says PRE-ORDER starts at 3 PM CENTRAL?
So, 4 PM Eastern, 2 Mountain, 1 Pacific?

If after entering Target DCPI # at scanner and it doesnt show them as in stockroom, are some stores still waiting for their Final Lap case? Just got back from checking three stores in the Milwaukee area with no “evidence” they are here. Even got an associate to check stockroom at one store with the older scan only wall scanner. Im all ready to go up against the red shirts for the Cars kill, but no game in sight. The two week wait isnt so bad but I dont want to come up short on the 11th.
None of my Targets here in Iowa have any in stock either. I used to work at Target so I called a friend to check for me. They may just not have made it to our part of the country yet!
I check 4 Target’s this weekend, and had zero in stock and zero in the stockroom.
None at 7 Targets in Illinois and St. Louis area. Had 1 store run a check at all stores in 50 mile area. They were in their system as Cars Classics though.

EXACTLY!! I hope they are not $6.99 at Kmart . . . it is almost like Target KNEW they did not belong to them and that they were a SUPER RARE and NEW ERORR shipment . . . so let’s ebay the price a little before Kmart has them!! 😆

Nikko is a great friend of mine. Just want to let you know that he does not sell them on ebay, instead of making a profit he sends them to my four year old son. All I can say is thank you Nikko very much and I know my son loves what you do.

John you really do not have a clue. Nikko drives all over finding these things for other people. Myself included. He has helped me out more than I can say. He goes way beyond to help others. He makes no profit at all. In fact he probably loses money because its his gas he uses to find them and he never charges others for his time or gas. Don’t talk about my buddy like that. It is so not cool.

Nikko has helped me out as well….
He called us from Disneyland and asked us what we needed, picked it up for us and hand delivered it to us in San Diego… he didn’t have to do that… Nikko’s heart is in the right place and I think a lot of us could take a page out of his book….
