I have just recieved the car from the mattel tru promo and i can confirm it is…………….SIDWALL SHINE #74 it comes in a plastic display case rapped in a mattel baggie
So… I’m new to this, are us Americans allowed to send in for the UK promo?

Italy was supposed to get Blu Ray too, but it never happened.
(MET: They got FWD – there’s a new one ongoing. The other was the German FWD which was separate from the UK FWD so the order of the startdate was Italy Promo-Makegood FWD, UK – FWD, German – FWD, but I think the German one ran shorter than the Uk even though it started later – and then France).

I think the mystery is a great idea… especially if it is something no one would guess … Ransburg Dudley Spare, Glow in the Dark DJ, Sepia Doc Hudson, Phillip, … or something of that nature….
My guess is there may be a law or something in the usa that says they have to say what it is.
I think the UK’ers will be happy with Tachomint or Gask its . . . I personally hope that is is Gask its and the US promo is Tachomint . . . . can you say one for one trade!?!? 🙂
I’ve never seen lenticulars in my TRU, I suppose if they do have them now you don’t feel like you are having to buy complete doubles as they are ‘slightly’ different to the ones we already have!
I bet the next thing will be though that they have the Cars but run out of the flyers you have to send in with the receipts!
Did they have any of the collector posters at TRU that were mentioned on the carstoys.co.uk website?

I don’t believe you have to have a leaflet to submit your receipts. Just send with a letter to the address on the cars toys website.

The case contains Bumper Save x2, Shifty Drug, Rev ‘n Go, Little Torquey Pistons and Dirt Track McQueen
The posters were in a container on the shelf. Appeared between 13:30 and 18:30 today.
They also had case G of the Mini’s in for the first time.
Boots have Lightyear launchers? going to check these out tomorrow! wher they in the mix and match deal they have this time of year when you buy two and get one free?
