People are reporting these are finally showing up – a year late but a couple bucks below before so that’s something …
These pics are from Nikko, as it’s Target – it’s hard to tell what’s in the first case but here’s what he found so far …
What else have you spotted in ROR packaging? In addition these, “Albert Hinckey” has also spotted Mr & Mrs. The King, Gaspirin & Tow Cap, No Stall & Leak Less & Whitewalls McQueen & Fillmore.
Maybe September will be the month to camp out at Target?
Here’s all the Movie Moments that are RETURNING …
Some of these will obviously be in case assortments down the line – and of course, now that it’s Target, there is no regular schedule and no reliable case assortment info.
Here’s what’s ‘new” but clearly as you can see, it’s all re-packaging now … it’s now more of a nice way for new collectors to get two CARS that might not be available as a single or hard to find as a single (Tumbleweed McQueen might not apply to anything :-/ ).
Maybe that aggro McQueen will show up in some of these packaging?

So I looked high and low and can not figure out what actually comes in this case. I have seen chick and bruiser, ferrari and Luigi, tex and dinoco mcqueen, whitewall mcqueen and filmore and Red and Stanley and rusty and dusty. I have also heard that there is a Mrs king and king, No Stall and Leekless, Towcap and Gasprin and the BIG KORI AND Mcqueen. Has anyone actually found any of the last 4 that I mentioned. especially The kori and Mcqueen. Thank you everyone.

Finally after a month of no restocking at target, i found a leakless and no stall pack and a towcap and gasprin pack. Also,some lenticular cars boost, wingo, snotrod and dj. I scored some good cars for my nephew thats just starting his collection. Still looking for the Mater tales though come on TRU restock.

When I found the ROR Movie Moments this week I think they had Red & Stanley also. There were two Fillmore & Whitewall Lightning McQueen and two Chick Hicks & Bruiser Bukowski but only one of the others. There was no reference to Target or Target Exclusive on the ROR packaging so these may not be Target only for very long.
I DO like the ROR packaging, but would like it more if there were NEW CARS in them.

With the Press badge is how ours came and there are some straight, some angled and some somewhere inbetween!

My international one is with the angled Press badge, as is the WM8 one that I opened and the WM8 on that is not opened.
Look a super rare Rusty and Dusty in the picture and it’s not even in Met’s lists.
There are few things in the lists that did not make their appearance in the UK Movie Moments (we never got Red Mia & Tia, Mike & Sulley, RD King & LMcQ or Tumbleweed and Doc), but we did get Rusty and Dusty.
It’ll be interesting to see which ones you do get across there and if they match ours.
(MET: They must’ve put Rusty & Dusty back on the list – realizing that we might not need another two pack of Mia & Tia as the Dinoco twins?)

I saw a Nitroade Hauler at Target today, but only after someone picked it up…didn’t see any new MM.

My husband just found 2 of this…they look great in the card!!
I can’t wait to find the one with Kori. That is the only one I never found 2 of.
I’ve had to work 2 trades to get a Kori on her own card and 1 MM with Lighting. I’ve NEVER seen a Kori, in either form, out in the wild.
Also, most of these are just a rehash of old releases, so I’m afraid they’re going to take up a lot of precious space that might be better used for new releases such as the Final Lap cars that we keep waiting to see in Target.
I found 1 WM 8 and have never seen her any other way. My Target’s MM pegs have been really empty so hopefully they won’t interfere with the other new stuff to come.
That’s what I traded for (a Kori WM 8), but I’ll probably never open that one, so any extra Koris will be handy for display…although to recreate the scene where the media finds Lightning in RS, she’d need to lose her “Press” badge.

Even though it’s more of the same, it’s a nice way to catch up and get some of the cars one might be missing. The packaging is nice and the price isn’t too bad. 2 cars for $6.99 versus 1 for $3.99.
our Target is charging $4.69 + tax for a single.

Speaking of new, the Lenticulars just arrived at my Target…I know because now we have a whole peg devoted solely to those crazy-eyed LMQs (LLMQs?).
Anywho, they must be selling well, cuz there’s still no hope in sight for me to get the chase cars from those cases.
The ROR movie moments have been knocking about our tescos for months and months, so much so we have given up looking..one store had 5 flik & fleas!!

What color are Bruiser’s eyes?? Look good – too bad it is just a bunch of repackaging….
in the UK, he came with both blue and green eyes…. would expect the same here… maybe heavier on the blue eyes….
