Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS: TRU France CARS Day
TRU is having a CARS get-together day … unlike Kmart CARS Day, NO special CARS but more of a gathering place where CARS fans can trade and meet up … and commiserate about Gask-Its being 1 per household ;-/
August 29th and 5th of September. This the flyer announcing the event.

I checked the toys’r us france site and could not find anything about this. Where or how can you get the flyer-poster?
Does is say in which store exactly the event takes place?

Well, to get Gask-Its is an expensive thing as I had to learn when I got mine. Even on the french ebay there isonly one listed at the moment and this one is wothout his baggie. So if anybody wants it, let me know and i will try to get it, but it is already $75 without shipping. Shipping first to Germany and afterwards to the USA may be another $30-40 and nobody knows where this will end at least.
But I saw one Gask-Its on the american ebay as well:

Sorry for changing this subject but I tried to put this news on an older post and it did not work!So my excuses to anyone not interested in this!I have A question about the Mattel Factory sealed limited set from 2006 containing All 16 cars plus 4 movie moments and rowlin bowlin Mater and McQueen dirt track on A desert card!I have one but it is sealed but I do have the McQueen dirt track from someone who opened the box and I do not know if the few people who have the set and opened it saw this but the two added cars have A different card then the other 16 single Cars!They almost look exactly the same 16 cars on the back and so but above the emblem of Cars it says Disney-Pixar while every other card 12 back and 16 back have Disney PRESENTS A Pixar FILM written above the emblem making it A card variation that only seems to exist for these 2 Cars!A lot of toys related to the movie that appeared in the desert card period back in 2006 had this! Indicating the point where Disney took over Pixar!The mysteries from Cars never end!lol everybody!

It is very difficult to ascertain what exactly you are talking about, so if you would please ship the entire box of Cars to me, I’d be happy to evaluate it for you.

Nice try!!I think i will take mine to the grave still sealed!What i mean is that on every card since Disney bought Pixar the Cars logo says DISNEY/PIXAR (the 2 companies are now 1 )before the takeover (Chick Sponsor:think about it!!)Pixar films were presented under agreement with Disney so the logo on the 12 and 16 cards says DISNEY PRESENTS A PIXAR FILM!However when the Factory set was put together they had to make the cards for Bowlin Mater and McQueen dirt track the other 16 existed and they simple took those leftover and put them in the box what happened with the 2 new is the cards were created after the takeover stating that from now on DISNEY and PIXAR were equal resulting in the updated logo used ever since!These 2 cards are the only desertcards I know off that have the updated logo used for the first time on the j-hook supercharged design!If you have A 12 or 16 back you can compare it to the pictures from the 2 mystery cars on the old take2aday post about the factory set!there is still A link on the start page from this beautifull site!I hope you can get an idea off what I am talking about!more info needed?Let me know!LOL

Will imidiately check for one near the Belgian border and plan A nice day in La France!I love being Belgian Every country surrounding is only between 30 and 120 kilometers from Antwerp and we also speak the languages so no problems there!But I really hope this is worth it not like last year’s toys’r’us event in Holland!3 real size cars to take A picture with and absolutely no toys,nothing!even the free mags and adverts where from donald duck and mickey and other disney related stuff but Cars?No!Looks promising but over here you really never know what to expect until you arrive and see yourself!See you there!!!
that is awesome. I live in one of the most isolated capital cities in the world, Perth. I have dreams of going to South America and/or Europe just to be able to move countries within an hour or two. As you say, see you there!
But you over there are so much closer to the source my friend if you got good connections you have first pick straight from the factory!A goldmine like some Aussies discovered if you watch their sales on E-bay!By the time things end up in Europe the rest off the world allready has it all and we are lightyears behind!It is great that everything is so close put the policy from Mattel seems even worse over here then it is in the rest of the World when it comes to delivering!Plus gas over here is 3 times more expensive!I sometimes dream off Australia,the space,the peace,the connection with nature,we do not have this ,it is hard to get away from everything and experience this over here!Love to go there!See ya mate and No Worries!!!

If you look at the black & white checkerboard-backed section, you’ll see that those are lenticulars, so I’d assume it’s a “yes”.
