But why waste your remaining brain cells on that when you can guess how many Lightning McQueen’s you really have …
Yep, each McQueen corresponds to an ACTUAL BONAFIDE Mattel release of Lightning McQueen on card, in box or some other form.
If the outside of the packaging changed in some manner, he’s relisted – I did NOT count the Target repackaging of Launchers in the Value Pack nor did I count whether the McQueen included or did not include a poster underneath him as separate since there was no card-packaging change but otherwise, if you bought every single thing with McQueen included – you should have 42 Lightning McQueen’s … can you name the package?

Customizers love the extra Lightning McQueens. Its one good use for the extras.

So this has nothing to do with Mattel shoving at least 42 same LM’s down our throat, but I thot you wood all appreciate this cute story!
We are at the craft show, nad this beautiful dog comes over and starts playing with PiratePup. The dog has a bark inhibitor on, which looks like the translator on the Dug’s collar from the movie UP.
Our dog and this dog play together for a few minutes and then the dog leaves…. well PirateSon start to cry and he is calling after the dog….”BBbBBuuuuttttttt I did not get to hear him taaallllkkkkkk!!!!”
He REALLY thought that is WAS the translator and that this dog should be able to talk…he was REALLY REALLY upset that the dog did not talk to him!!

I gave a friend’s Son a LM I had and he squeeled with jubilation. Some people are still really excited about him.
Yeah, but NOBODY would be excited about 42 of them.
Not to disagree too strongly with the esteemed met, I do believe the similarly-esteemed Brandon is correct…there are already a bit more than 42, not even counting stuff like bubble position or even international-only releases like the McQueen & Kori Movie Moments. After all, there are even variations like the WOC “Pit Row Race-Off” and “Pit Race-Off” launchers (which is one that people tend to overlook). I’m coming up with about 48 major packaging variations…unless I just can’t count at all, which is always a possibility.

would it be pointless if we all signed a petition to get mattel to stop being so stupid as to cram as many mcqueens into each case as they can?
surely if we throw bricks at thier heads enoguh times it may knock some sence into thier skulls so they realise that:
More new cars + less Lightning mcqueens = more sales
maybe we should start something like that, or each go out and buy a boring old stupid mcqueen and piratedad can fashion some sort of 1:55 die cast car firing cannon, and we can go see how many mattel executives cars we can trash with it!
disclaimer: when i say ‘bricks’ i of course mean metaphorical bricks, i do not encourage you to throw actual bricks at high ranking mattel staff as it is seen as both stupid and idiotic.

I was previously keeping track of all of the cars that have been released but seem to have missed loads and have recently purchased some story tellers cars that are completely different to those on any of my lists – are these rare? (i’m in the UK). Hope someone can update me as i was following the updates on here but got lost at about the Race o Rama 5.0 stage???

tesco had all the ST singles except tractor and retro ramone, but mine didnt have the 3 packs either,

No i just hadn’t heard of the storytellers range (i’m a bit behind the times!) My local Tesco has only just started getting them in but doesn’t seem to have the 3 packs – I managed to get flo and wedding ramone and also sponserless mcqueen but have been on holiday so i’ll have to pop in and catch up on what they’ve got.
better do, my tesco doesnt have them up anymore, only the last few that were lft next to the regular movie moments + mini adventure 2 packs.
was hoping to of found a few tractors for my frank!
