Side Wall Shine is a problem, how many was in tru´s promo?
Bought myself European promos for small money on ebay in Germany and it will certainly fall in price on ebay france for Gask Its.
I will try to buy some Gask its on ebay france, sometime its easier to get things sent within Europe and the price is nicer when the seller dont want to ship ww, but it will take sometime. so be coool 🙂
No one knows Peter, but it was very limited, and most people did not send in for it, because as Met said there were nothing but pegwarmers at TRU while the promo was going on. The SideWall promo was for a very short time period then ended. We will be cool on Gask its.

I traded a FWD here for my third Transberry Juice. I traded a SDCC McQueen last year for the first 5 Kmart Racers right after the store event, as no Kmarts here. That was the only way to get them as the online after event cases were gone before I knew about the online sale in the early morning hours. At least this year with the help of emails from Dev, by giving prior notification, at least the second sale on Friday was at a decent hour in the daytime. Thanks to Dev, Kevin, Met we all had a chance to get this years case at regular prices.
I traded 5 cars to get the SideWall Shine promo car unopened mint in the collector box with the baggie, a few months ago, and all it has done since then is escalate in price. You never know.

I was on for over 2 hours and didn’t get through because the KMart site didn’t recoginize the item # NOR the description that was used from the previous Wednesday. Unless you had the new item #, which I didn’t and don’t really understand WHY there would be one, but unless you did, you were stuck. I heard that it might have been a browser problem, but how many of us have multiple browsers? Really. WE did not ALL have a chance. Not to mention our good friends North of us and any others out of the USA couldn’t buy the case EVEN if they did get through. Realistically, some people got through and a lot didn’t. Some even got through enough times to buy multiple (8 or so) cases. Just like the regular KMart collector days at the stores, some will get lucky and others will leave empty handed. This on-line offering was somewhat restrictive and I would therefore NOT say “we all had a chance”
As far as the Sidewall Shine goes. It’s interesting that Sidewall Shine was released before N20 Cola, yet N20 Cola will be re-released this fall. Seems someone on the inside has a special reason to hold back the re-release of Sidewall Shine. Hmmmmmm.
Money, money, money.
And I’m sure everyone who played the TRU game and jumped through all the same hoops for the N20 Cola that those did for the Sidewall Shine are just super happy that their $25+ investment to get an N20 Cola will eventually be worth $4 or so while the ones who got the Sidewall Shine will continue to see the value of that car rise, at least for the time being.
I miss all the posts…it was fun trying to keep up! Bring on MORE controversey!!
i doupt i would even be able to trade anything for them, as anything new we get here has probibly been pegwarmers or released in multiple cases in the US…
im currently surfing amazon looking for cars,
kinda sad, i wanted to get the racers, but looks like i wont be able to get the kmart exclusives (last years) as they are £20 upwards,

we didnt get last years either because we were on vacation 🙁 i dont know what a normal trade for those would be
Market value on the Piston Cup Racers from last year’s KMart case is about $10 per car on average, with Transberry Juice and View Zeen consistently being the highest and Sparemint and Shiny Wax being the lowest because they have since been released in other formats.
You might get someone to trade you for less, but not likely.
10 isnt bad considering ebay averages 20-30
Buy em in a lot and they will be much cheaper. And of course the longer you wait the prices will start to slide.

Makes sense. Everything in Japan is expensive. Except electronics, which are comparable to US prices.
