CARS CARES Relaunch + Help Yourself to a Special Custom While Helping Kids!
As many of you know, Kevin T.-Indykjt launch CARS CARES to formalize his charity & donations program. In addition to making sure kids have toys while they are in the middle of an impersonal hospital stay, Kevin wants you to know that CARS CARES is here for the long term. He and his family have been spending a lot of time getting CARS CARES all proper and legal and in these times, totally legitimate so you know exactly where your donations are going.
CARS CARES has begun the final step to becoming an certified charity – IRS 501(c)3 Status – Applied).
Recently, he has offered CARS collectors some great signed items by Martin Arriola.
But to kick off CAR CARES’ new website at www.carscares.org, our friend and great customizer Nathaniel B. – the creator of the great TakeFiveADay racer and Crew Chief has really stepped up and topped himself creatively and time wise in creating a special racer for CARS CARES …
I guess since it’s for the kids, I’ll let it slide that this is nicer than our TakeFive racer … 🙂
(just kidding, Nathaniel! 😉 ).
With all proceeds going to the CARS CARES program of course, it’s a thing of beauty for you and you’re helping kids … so dig deep when these come up for auction soon!

The pictures do not do these Cars justice… they are SWEET! The silver is a metalflake, so they sparkle!
What does everyone think of the Grab Bag event? I’d love some feedback on this event, and ideas for future ones! (Nine more of these racers to go!)
How about that new logo? Started out with a great redesign from a member of CarsTheToys.com, and then it was given a special finishing tweak by Martin! I LOVE IT, and it fits the program perfectly!
Big things still to come for Cars Cares… you have only seen the tip of the iceberg for things that are in the works… stay tuned!
i think your grab bag event is great!! Just a suggestion, maybe give an idea of what “cars items” are in the boxes?? 🙂 i was telling my husband about it, but he wanted to know what you meant by cars items. lol do you mean like stickers, diecasts, sheets, tootbrush holder, bathtowel, kleenex, bandaids??? lol 🙂 ok maybe that was pushing it hahah no but really! if you could give a better idea that would be awesome. The LOGO is for sure unique and totally fits! can’t wait to see what else you come up with!
Good idea about giving an idea as to what “Cars items” are in the boxes.
The short answer is mostly diecast singles, some minis, a couple mega size, and other small goodies… depending on the box. There are at least two items in each box, and they are the standard small cube style USPS Priority Mail boxes.
So, if this event isn’t for you, and you still want to help out, we could always use stickers, diecast, sheets, toothbrush holders, bathtowels, kleenex, and bandaids (Cars style, of course!).

there should be a database of all the racer numbers, and the ones where thier is no car someone can claim it as thier own race number 🙂 and design thier own car with its own sponsor.
