I saw some earlier posts on people waiting for shipping confirms from CTC. I am too, is anyone else still waiting? Does anyone know if CTC is away? Others have received this preorder, if i read this posts right?
I got mine yesterday and the shippping notice last week…he answered an email yesterday, so he is around or at least checking emails…try him again…Also on the about us page i think, is his cell phone #

I got mine a couple of days ago. This morning I got the UPS tracking email-mine will be here Tuesday.

As if this fiasco was not bad enough, my 3 pack case just arrived and I got hit with another $21.01 for brokerage on the stupid thing….
I am through buying cases and definitely NEVER pre-ordering again!!!
Should clarify…I am not upset with CTC on this..Mattel screwed the cases up TWICE, and now UPS is screwing me (sorry Brown Fury!)

Why did you have to pay more? Not understanding what “brokerage” is??
“Brokerage” is the broker fees charge by UPS (not only a carrier but a customs broker as well) for “clearing” the merchandise through, in this case, Canadian customs. It’s their fees for elaborating customs clearance paperwork.
It is the money UPS charges me to clear it across the border, after all it could be filled with drugs or rusteze and we wood knot want any of that in our country! IDIOTS!! TOTAL RIPOFF!!!
Is this with every package you get or just random ones? Silly I know but inquiring minds want to know.
Usually a low $$ amount avoids that, and this one was listed at $20, but often it will happen if it is from a business as opposed to a person or individual…it is freaking annoying though!
Has happened to 2 of the last 3 cases I brought in from CTC…
Has NEVER once happened in trades or sales from take5 members though!

Yea as stated above, this will be the last preorder I place. Just doesnt make sense to place them and then wait 3 months then see it in the stores 7, 10, 14 days before you get your own.
Too bad Mattel doesnt take care of the vendors before the big dogs.

Case C showed up last Friday at the Walmart in Raynham, MA. I can confirm
the breakdown is as listed above. Price was $10.97 each.
I have been shipping product since last friday, the orders are being shipped in the order they were received. just received more product today, all orders will be shipped by thursday.
Is there a recent post on the revisions for the upcoming Mega sized cases or an update? I know that case H was supposed to have Sven, but was changed to Frank. But what about the cases after that? I know one case was supposed to have both Sven and Frank in it, but from what I have found, that case changed to 3 Sven, 2 No Stall cabs and something else.
(MET: That’s the last case assortment we have … the something else is ‘Elvis RV.’).
I already mentioned this to the OPS team and Engineering. I did see some e-mails go out to HK, not sure what beame of it.

This is the 2nd revision to the 3 pack case D. I’ll be ordering my cases soon… With Mega Size Case H and Launchers Case C, it’s been a very good last week for Cars…
I’m glad the folks who pre-ordered this case are finally going to receive it. You won’t be disappointed when you see the sets! 🙂
I just found this case today at my SuperWM. The Cars paint jobs in the Chick Hicks and Sparemint sets looked good. Unfortunately the Cars in the Shiny Wax and Mater sets were terrible. 🙁
Martin, are you reading this? Can you say something to someone about the quality?
There should have been a Mattel-sponsored race team in the movie named “Team Chipped Paint”, as there have certainly been more than enough times that I’ve had to put a single or 3 pack back on the shelf due to the chipped paint and just poor paint jobs. Pittys are the worst, such as the Mater/Bruiser/Wide Pitty set……deplorable.

I’ll second that. Part of my reasoning is that when I order a case, sight unseen, I can’t be sure that the paint won’t be full of chips and touch-ups. In person, I can at least pick out the best of the worst.

Me either! I just saw the Mega Size case H I just ordered changed!! I ordered if for Frank and Sven and now no Frank! Plus, still haven’t received my shipping email for launchers and this case!

There are now 3 Sven, 2 No Stall Cabs and 1 Elvis. That is what it said when I clicked on it earlier and someone posted about it.
It seems that the preorders are taking longer and longer to fulfill lately and I don’t know why. I picked up this case at Walmart last week already. The Chick fans Mia and Tia are awesome!

At least I got my notice that this was shipping…this has been about 9 months waiting for this 3 pack cxase for me…again, not CTC’s fault but Mattel continously changings its mind or reasonable facsimile….

I am waiting on my notice as well, but I also preordered the Launchers case C at the same time. I would assume they will go out together.
I did too. Launcher Case C is in stock as well. At least that is what the site said last night.
I got my Launcher case today and the 3-pack should be here tomorrow. I am in Michigan so I get it next day so everyone else should be getting their’s soon!
Every day the UPS truck drives past our house and my son runs to see if he is stopping at our house! If it happens to be bringing us something, he has the door open before the guy even gets the package out!
