TakeFiveADay To Attend Diecast Event in Atlanta
The folks over at Diecastspace.com have invited TakeFive to participate in their first show to be held in the Atlanta area. The show will be held June 11-14 at the Hilton Airport Atlanta.
In addition to lots of HotWheels related trading going on, there will be some time and events dedicated to Mattel Pixar Cars. Plus, Mattel’s chief designer, Martin Arriola, is scheduled to attend on Saturday, June 13th!
TakeFiveADay.com Co-Founder, Tizmanian, will also be there on Saturday with copies of Metroxing’s latest stunning visual checklist collecting guide for sale.

Has anyone else seen the “custom” cars on ebay that are supposedly from this event? They are trying to sell them for $200 a piece. What are these cars, and were they giveaways?
How did this event go?

i will be attending hopefully i will be able to meet some take5er’s.
I am in Atlanta and going to try to go….the wifey is not keen on the idea but I am going to see what I can do! I would love to go out there see this so I am going to try! Am I the only person on this website in GA!?!

where are you located?? I mean it is good because I can get a good amount of cars but I am still in the stage of what to do going forward with all of the switchover.

Wish I could go. Maybe attend a BRAVES game. But living in South Texas and having mounting expenses keeps that from happening. Hopefully there will be one in Texas soon.
My wife and I were going to go, but the only CARS event is only about 2 hours, AND ON FRIDAY, so I think we’re going to pass. The price of gas will be back up for the summer as well, so expenses have to be considered.

If you look a bit earlier in the comments of this thread you will see a post by DCS which is one of the guys from Diecastspace. He says the CARS stuff is on for Saturday not Friday. Be advised.
That post wasn’t there when I left my replies.
So, the website is incorrectly showing the CARS event for Friday.
Great, we canceled our original plans to go BECAUSE it was shown to be on FRIDAY, the 12th. Saturday would have made it possible for us to go.
