Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS: Spin the Pricing Wheel – Where Does It Land?
In the SF Bay Area, pricing from the singles range from $2.97 to $3.59 but seem to be pre-emptively creeping up as wholesale costs have gone up for the new lenticular cases …
$3.47 as Josh sends in from Oregon …
Chuki Mama’s Target is now at $3.49 … though Movie Moments are now $6.99 … which of course is just $3.49 x 2 essentially – I did see some Target’s here at $6.99 but some were still at $8.59 so it’s all over the big wheel of pricing …

hello from germany,
our prices are a little bit more 🙂
for example 6 € for singles and 20 oder 25 € for hauler.
greeting carsfan-germany
Oh yeah
Target here in North Texas has always been $3.49 for singles. MM are now $6.99.
Walmart still $2.97 for singles. Red stickers for Trev the Train and haulers now. Bye bye…
All is the same here….singles are $2.97 and $2.99 at Walmart and Target with MMs still holding in at $6.99. I still hope that they finally get rid of all of the old stock so that we can finally see the MMs on ROR cards.
I just hope Movie Moments go away, unless they stay at the $6.99 price which is at least fair…
Our closest WM has started the full store remodel to the new “pod” store design so toy restocking is on hold until the toy dept. is relocated to the back of the store, and with half of the space they have now. 🙁 Great. Just when Todd, Patti, and Frank are coming.
South Georgai: Target shows price reduction 3.49 now 2.99 Wal-mart shows 3.47 with price reduction side panels on the bin tickets at 2.97. Bought a Darryl Cartrip with Clown mouth at Walgreens on Tuedsay at 4.49. Wal-mart in my town yesterday put out another case of Christmas 2007 exclusives. I picked up 2 more Charlies with red tail lights and another Kori with angled sticker. I left Bruiser and TJ for others to find.TRU holding at 3.59.
Hey, would you be kind enough to email me at jestrjef at hotmail dot com . . . I think I could use your help!! Thanks!!
You left Bruiser & TJ???? Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!….. 😉
Incredible!! TJ???? NOOOO
And it was probably the mythical TUF GUY license plate with the “New!” badge. 😆
LMPO!!
and for you dirty minds out there, P stands for Plate, as in License Plate!!
(MET: isn’t scurvy where appendages fall off? 🙂 )
Still not confirmed its mythical yet!
Like Loch Ness and Yeti… must exist since no one has proven it does NOT exist!!
It’s as mythical as Rusty Mater in the Rollin’ Bowlin’ Mater game!
Funny guys, So if it does not exist why does errorcars.com
list it and Brandon’s Drive Inn list it?
Maybe because about 2 1/2 years ago, I pulled out Rollin’ Bowlin’ Mater, replaced him with Rusty Mater, resealed the package, and listed it on eBay as a “resealed” game with a replacement Mater. The photo was probably copied and became legend on Google.
Also, ErrorCars.com is selling the original for $129.95. …geez, I guess I’ll sell mine for $120.00!! 😆
Sheesh, you’re not gonna send me an additional invoice for the one you sold me last week, are you (it hasn’t arrived yet, BTW)? 🙂
I was going to until you said it hasn’t arrived yet. What is up with the Postal Services????
Regarding T.J., ErrorCars.com is lacking the cards WITHOUT the “New!” badge for both TUF GUE and TUF GUY, so in my book, they are not a very reliable source for Cars checklists to start with.
T.J. was first released with a rear license plate that said TUF GUE. These came out in cards with and without the “New!” badge. By the time they fixed the license plate mistake, the “New!” badge was not being used anymore.
I really would like to believe TUF GUY with the “New!” badge exists, but I’d also like to believe in ghosts, Elvis Presley still being alive, UFO’s, Extra-Terrestrial Aliens, Bigfoot, the Abominable Snowman, Sasquatch, the Loch Ness Monster, the Lake Champlain Monster, the Piltdown Man, Roswell, Area 51, Antigravity Aircraft, Crop Circles, the Bermuda Triangle, Life on Mars, a Chicago Cubs World Championship and/or hitting the big one in Powerball in my lifetime.
Oops, I forgot the Grassy Knoll / 2nd Bullet theories too!
You also forgot “ROR singles will be available at retails stores in Canada”
Thank you! I knew I forgot something near the top of the list!!!
LMAO!!!!
You forget Matty’s promise to sell us cars..”Mattel offers die-cast vehicles, track sets, and more! Shop at MattyCollector.com to complete your collection” “I want to Believe!!!”–borrowed from X-files… 😀
I hope Chuki_Mama moved that Littlest Pet Shop box to its appropriate place! 🙂
YOU caught me! 😀 Had to put it down to take a picture…
I’m smart like bats — we use Radar!
You would think that Movie Moments would be priced at LESS the price of Singles X 2. One more strike against Mattel!
we are an illogical people..
7,90 EURO singles ( 10,52 $)
15,90 EURO Launchers ( 21,18 $)
12,90 Movie moments ( 17,19$)
in Italy
No comment…
WM in SW Washington is still at 2.97, but the KMart across the way is back to 3.47. Not that they matter, since all they have is the remains of the cases they put out back in December.
walmart still the cheapest in houston….so far….but first they have to finish cleaning out the warehouse from the previous 3 releases before new stuff will be pegged….
where in Houston are you??
all over – live on east side and work just north of downtown
NW…can’t tell if I have already missed out on Todd and Patti and Elvis with the abundance of restocked peg warmers.
todd, patti and frank not on the pegs just yet down here – but i saw 2 elvis (plural would be elvi) motorhomes yesterday at the walmart on 45 at west road
worth a look, thanks!!!!!!!
too bad I am West Road and Hwy 6, still can get there
patti and todd found this morning in houston at a local target (next to the astrodome)
oh, and nothing to be found just stocked peg warmers!!!!
singles $2.99 and MM for $6.99 here at Target
