Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS: FINALLY, A True CARS Singles Display Case

Until now, there have been two problems with diecast display cases – they were either not made for the larger 1:55 Mattel Disney Pixar diecast CARS or if they did fit, they only fit sideways … which I never understood. You want to display your diecast cars & CARS at a slight angle …

So you can see the front AND the side of the diecast … especially with CARS since it has an expression & eyes – not to mention its great design and artistry – sideways, you’re losing 45% of the beauty of the car and especially CARS … but finally, someone has designed a display case with CARS in mid.

Also from CTC – it will hold 110 CARS.

It has dividers so each CAR can be shown off in its full glory.

Hey, these CARS are nice. I should collect these. 🙂

Some people have already wondered if the following row should be faced in a different direction, trust me – it seems visually interesting conceptually but no, you don’t actually want the CARS to off in a different direction on the row below – it’s actually visually distracting and ultimately annoying – you do want them to all to face in one direction.

It’s $145 shipped in the US. It does have a mirror back.

I did not take these photos so I cannot tell you how many Pitty’s might fit in one slot but plenty of CARS lined up to compare. I’m presuming RED should fit based on the available space I can see – CTC is also working on a megasize CARS case.

And until April 30, 2009 – if you place an order of $100 more at CTC (and or if you have an order of $100 or more that will ship in April), you are automatically entered – for a display case giveaway. That includes international entries. NOTE: This is a CTC giveaway, not a TakeFive giveaway.

It is the same size as the hauler display – though obviously with different compartments configured. You can also install the door hinge so the door opens to the right or the left …

So clear some wall space and dust off your level!
