I received my Case G today from CTC…fast delivery, perfect condition as always.
Anyways, here is my report/observations for Case G, and please provide comment based on your observations for what your “cars” look like:
#1 Medicated Bumper Ointment (w/ yellow stripe) on bottom of trunk looks
really small/misaligned compared to, say, Tumbleweed.
#2 Pink mouth, pink stripe on edge of right side of windshield.
#4 Big paint chip right above mouth. White decal on side of car torn.
#5 No “Dinoco” on front of spoiler, but this may never have been done
previously? Car made on 9th day of 2009.
#8 “Dinoco” on front of spoiler. Car made on 5th day of 2009, 4 days
before #5…so now I’m confused.
#11 No comment, looks unchanged.
#15 New car. No comment, looks unchanged. Has cool picture of Patti on
back.
#20 All plastic as discussed. Cut out for metal engine.
#24 No comment, looks unchanged.
#36 No comment, looks unchanged. Nice “Medicated Bumper Ointment”
(w/ yellow stripe) compared to #1.
#82 No comment, looks unchanged.
#85 No comment, looks unchanged.
#86 No comment, looks unchanged.
#89 New car. Although I did not open either of the Andrea’s (as is the
case with this entire case), from what I could read through my
magnifying glass, each car HAS A DIFFERENT LETTER/NUMBER CODE, which
replaces the straight number codes from the 2008 production year cars.
#90 New car. Chuki CHASE. Blue “chase” reads “Chase Package!”
Interesting fact, car was made on 337th day of 2008. All other cars
talked about here were produced in 2009. Also, NO confetti.
#91 New car. Mine has a black smudge or scuff on the roof. Nice car.
Still very tired of all the McQueens, and the previous post about poor quality control seems spot on based on my comments above.
Again, all cars, with the exception of Chuki Chase were produced in 2009.
All letter/number codes are very hard to read in each package, even with a magnifying glass. Print is very small, and the sticky they use to adhere the ticket to the plastic makes it even harder to read. I DID OPEN THE TUMBLEWEED MCQUEEN (because I now have 7, and the card was bent), AND THE LETTER/NUMBER CODE DOES NOT WORK ON THE WEBSITE. IT DOES NOT ALLOW YOU TO ENTER ANY LETTERS – ONLY NUMBERS. The CODE that came in my car is “MB3W-SCKN-MJYQ-UPY9”

If I remember correctly and they did not change it, it was to be Written in Japanese…and I doubt there is confetti as they seem to be trying to save money there too!!

My brother and I did a last minute late night shopping trip yesterday. Just to let you know several of the walmarts we hit had case G singles. I even found Elvis at 3 of them. I also saw several C cases of haulers. 2 leakless, 1 octain, and 1 each of the original 3. Check your walmarts today.

singles are same old boring ones,
they did had some race o rama movie moments including my first sighting of chick and bruiser…
…also seeing alot of cars with the promo stickers on….too little too late tho…
hey Roswell, my local sainsbury’s is having a stock change with new cars on their way. im going to check tomorrow and they should have new launchers and new singles (hopefully)
Disney store have the case with impound boost, rpm pit crew, edwin kranks and tank coat pitty.
will keep an eye out but im past getting my hopes up…

I didn’t find any new launchers at Sainsbury’s either, Did manage to get a couple of Bruiser MM’s though. Although Sainsbury’s is a bit on the pricey side for cars 🙁

Who are Chuck Manifold and Milton Calypeer? Where are they in the movie?
Chuck Manifold is one of the TV reporters (like Chuki is) when McQueen first goes missing.
Milton Calypeer appears in the “flashback” scene when Sally describes to McQueen how life used to be in Radiator Springs before the Interstate came thru. This is also the scene where we see Greta and Brand New Mater, and Dustin Mellows appears just before them.
Yes to date Chuck Manifold has to be the most boring Car yet. 😐
I like Chuck, but his card graphic is the WORST by far! I think Martin was on vacation the day they came up with that.

anyone else think that mattel deliberatly made LMQ without the spoiler sticker?
cus now they can release all the older MQ and the completists will have to but them again,
then after that itll be LMQ with rear camera…
then LMQ with slightly diferent correct eye colour…

hey just letting everybody know if you need andrea, milton and chuki chase from case G i have them. if anybody knows how to post a picture or a link let me know and ill post the pix.

Just post in the trading forum. Wouldn’t think you would need pictures unless there are some flaws you want to point out.
I feel giddy just looking at the photo.
That’s the back room my local Target except it’s all F cases. I don’t know what they were thinking but you know they have too many when chuck and nitro pitty are now pegwarmers. Next case for that store Case Q of the new super nitro charged cards, that haven’t even been envisioned yet at mattel.
I know, but it’s kind of nice to actually see pegs FULL of Cars at Target (even if it’s a few of the same case) rather than the usual anemic smattering of McQ and Ramone variations.
They continue to clone the contents of Case E at my Target – they even added an endcap next to the Cars section to hang MORE from Case E.
Oh joy.
Now for the evil warehouse elves to stock these waay at the bottom under the B-D cases. And then release them by late summer.

I am thinking about starting a Lightning McQueen Relocation program to help keep the shelves in my area clear this summer. Buy em all up and return them to some out of the way stores. 🙂
Simply brilliant!!!!! It is like Collecting Protection Program in a way….. protecting those of us who play and collect from the onslaught of any more McQ’s!!!!
I’ve already had success with Target doing exactly that to force them to receive and put out new cases(when they show zero in back stock) …..I cleared their pegs of 25 CARS, 2 or 3 days later, there’s a fresh new case!
