Here’s what Chuki_Mama found at Fred Meyer … a new mini Easter pallet with Hot Wheels, Barbie, & CARS Mini & CARS Megasized … yep, CARS is big time now.
You can kind of tell the megasized are on the right side of the left mini pallet.
I’m presuming it’s mostly from CASE A & B of the megasized? Check your Fred Meyer and tell me if you got this mini Easter pallet. And look, it actually says Easter and not some euphemism 🙂
She also found this CARS standee with 1:55 singles which others have reported seeing. Presumably both are either special supermarket only items or alt channel items so while you might see it at Kmart, you’re unlikely to see this elsewhere especially Target who rarely (if ever) put out standees …
Meanwhile, clear across the country in MO … the Show Me Some Hot Wheels State …

Well, it isn’t one of the three Fred Meyers in the Tacoma (WA) area, including South Hill, Puyallup.
Some where a few miles from Leavenworth
i will take the hot wheels car on the very top and in the end of the rest of em.
My Winco has a similar set up currently as Fred Meyer. I’ve actually found that Winco is a decent place to find CARS these days 😀

**MET, here’s a question: Is it possible that the Night Vision McQueens that are filling pegs in mass at WM are screwing up the ordering protocol for “regular” CARS? If they’re keeping the quantity from dropping low enough to flag a need for a refill, that might explain the problem with little or no new stock?
(MET: In theory, should not as it has its own pricing and own UPC … but possible) …).

**How many PEGS does YOUR Walmart have with NOTHING hanging on them out of the TOTAL number of pegs???
Me first:
9 pegs, 9 EMPTY! Love that $2.97 rollback pricing!
(MET: That takes some doing to be 100% empty … Mine thinks it’s October 2008).
Out of 18 pegs, 10 are empty: the rest must be friends with the pegs at MET’s Walmart…
The other WM near us gets a case like “F”, then nothing until that case disappears, while oldies like Green Ramone and Petro Pulaski keep the pegs from getting lonely.
Sounds like they need a new Mattel Rep. Or a more outspoken Dept. Mgr. 😡 The Mattel Rep. for this area picks up all of the peg warmers from time to time.
The three I check regularly have been empty for over a month, this week they finally put new singles out…Case D. Which I found in abundance at K-Mart back in the first part of December. *facepalm* thanks WM

Ah, but do they have senior citizens greeting you at the door? “Welcome to Fred Myers!” It’s just not the same…….doesn’t roll off the tongue…….or in Walmart-ese…..it doesn’t “rollback” off the tongue as well.
Hey John, how many T-Hunts did you find before the standee came tunbling down? 😉 BTW, off-topic, but whatever: I found a regular and Super T-Hunt at CVS Pharmacy, and another Super T-Hunt at Big 5 Sporting Goods. Weird places to be finding Hot Wheels….

Unfortunately it is an older case. Fred Meyers does not seem to get the latest of the cases. We missed Case D at Target during the December snow and I missed out on Race Damaged King. There were LOTS of Race Damaged Kings in the Cars cardboard display – 6 at least. On the Easter cube, they had the oversized on one side (Case A & B) and on the back side they had the Minis with the Mini Chick Hick Hauler. 🙂 Let me know if you need any of these items…
