Disney CARS Comics – U.S. & International ….
Of course, there’s the great international CARS “magazine” with versions published in the UK, Italy, The Netherlands and Turkey.
Altan in Turkey sends us scans of the latest, each month features a different character – Chick Hicks this month.
Cover says “Piston Cup will be my my friend!”
Story 1 “Second, again”, Chick Hicks misses the copies of the magazine he was interviewed because Ferrari’s are being featured and Guido bought every copies.
Story 2 “Shy Fan”, CH tries to fool and humiliate the citizens then being painted by McQueen red.
Story 3, “Prejudice”, CH’s decal of sponsor is scratched, Ramone make him a new decal, then see who the real fool is.
Normally, you get a plastic CAR but this month, Chick went missing so they subbed in a pack of trading cards …
But it looks like they are finally re-purposing all the stories to the US market … ChukiMama found this comic …
It does come with stickers & a poster but not nearly the amazingly cool stuff that the Euro versions get … with CARS, a popup town and more!
Keep in mind, this “comic” is not the comic book series coming from Boom Studios at the end of the month.

Hi, do any UK people have a spare complete Issue 1 of the UK comic for sale? I missed the first issue and the publishers have sold out of this back issue 🙁

The UK cars magazine is on issue 11 this month, and feautures Flo! Our Issue 7 also featured Chick, but came with a Notebook and pencil. There are trading cards in the middle of each issue which you need to take out and cut up yourself.
This month’s special 32 trading cards in Turkish Cars issue is made of quality and hard cartoon, the real ones. Every issue also has cards to cut out, regular magazine paper.
Those cards look pretty cool. My Mater and his Tow Hook Swing Thing will beat your Chick and his Ka-Chigga Stare! 😉
I found that comic too. They had a stack of them on clearance at Target for 88 cent. The Cars books were half price too. Can still find them cheaper on the ‘used’ section of Barnes and Nobles .com though.

They have Tractor Tippin(Frank,Tractor,McQueen, Mack & McQueen, and Buildable Street Racers(Wingo,DJ,McQueen) . Not trying to sound like an advertiser, but knew some people were still looking for those.
ia m really regretting not buying these when I first saw them. The last comic books I saw over here had a few cards too. Would be nice to have a ‘set’ of them too. Err, collect them all.
I also regret not taking spelling and grammar lessons more seriously.
