Star Trek Barbie is hot! I loved Barbies as a kid and still have all of mine. I have never gotten into the collector Barbies although I think they are beautiful. I did buy the Speed Racer and Trixie set last year.
I’ve been SUPER tempted to get the Wizrd of Oz set, just donlt know what I would do with them.
The whole Bratz thing makes me kind of sad.
I have the Star Trek Barbie/Ken set (still in the box, even!) from way back when. My ex got it for me. So, I may get this one to go along with that set. I mean, it’s not like they’ll ever release a Leia Barbie…
Mattel has been in the business news the last two days 50th Anny of Barbie.

OK Space girl…… You can Tazer me if you want to…
Nanoo Nanoo!
Oh yeah and Barbie…
I don’t know if I should go for the Trick or the Treat…?
Can I have both?
I’m not qualified to comment since the last time I played with a doll it was an Action Man about 30 years ago!! The Star Trek Barbie is pretty cool though. I even think my girlfriend, who has NEVER been a “Barbie” girl, would like that one.
I want that tiny phaser!
I have always like Barbies Have collected all the superhero ones except catwoman, could never get my hands on her. The star trek one is pretty cool thinkI also agree with Niki tho, the Halloween versions seem for for collectors. Barbie in general seems more fore collectors these days with Bratzand allof those other types of dolls out and about.
I also collect Barbies and am especially fond of the Holiday Barbies so I must say that I like the “Accessory too large for my head barbie” but as far as play value I don’t think its anything to write the folks home about. However the Halloween/ Holiday Barbies are more meant for collectors than kids to play with. Just my two cents =)
Agreed! Our 28 year old daughter lives in Chicago, we in Washington State. Where is her Barbie doll collection? In our house! Includes all the Holiday Barbies, the first editions of the International dolls from the 1980’s, 75+ NRFB 1980’s Barbie dolls, etc, etc. Her uncle gave her the Star Trek duo.
I’m up late for this? 🙁 Barbie, the Attack of the 50 foot woman meets dreaded Purple Ramone!
