Will it actually launch on 3/1 – Sunday?
All the info I have is this … seems pretty straightforward though since it was not “officially” announced anywhere … maybe it did get delayed?
(and yes Gask-its is not spelled correctly 🙂 ).
BTW, the Buy 5 Promotion site is still N20 Cola but last time they didn’t switch until day of … so keep checking! 🙂

Still nothing and its almost June…

I’m so impatient! It’s driving me crazy waiting to hear when this promo is actually going to start.

LOL! As if Mattel isn’t wondering why the 5for1promotion site is getting thousands of hits everyday!
If I ran my business the way Mattel ran theirs I wood be out of business…good thing they have designers like Martin, or they wood be in BIG trouble!!
It just seems like such a simple thing to put up a poster in a store… and update a website page. Change the picture, a couple of dates, and a name or two. All done! Come on Mattel…
I visited my TRU yesterday and there were no flyers and no CLUE from the management! I am sure you could have guess that!
Well – we got nothing here in NY. I returned (then rebought) my purchases from Feb to get the updated receipt date, but no flyers in the store. And I noticed the website hasn’t changed yet…
You may have to return them again, if March 1st turns out to NOT be the starting date…
But you’d think the webpage would have changed by now, regardless of if TRU has the fliers or not…

No tru has gotten the flyers yet and best advice ask the supervisor in charge of the action department) the supers will know if there is any product avaiable in the back or not

I’m hoping my local TRU puts out some new stuff. Haven’t seen any new singles in over a month. last new singles I saw were remains of case C in late December. I still haven’t found Impound Snot Rod.
Well I still haven’t found Impound Boost!
I can probably still pick up an Impound Boost w/confetti if you need it. Just saw one on the peg at one of our local stores yesterday!
I may just have to take you up on that. Because that was released when? Near Thanksgiving?? Was he released with ROR Tow and Damaged King? I can’t find those either. Those are getting old too now aren’t they? My local stores suck at restocking.

Nothing at our TRU in Omaha. And I mean nothing. The singles pegs were emptier than I’ve seen them in awhile.

It is a Sunday..do we really think they are gonna work on a Sunday to change the site?? They should since it is the 1st but it is Mattel who are we kidding??
right but in theory if they have the web site I think they do, it would automatically switch over. I work for a company who has a web address to sell equipment and ours switched automatically when it hits midnight. We don’t have to tell it to switch. And I just got back from TRU and there was no promo up so I didn’t buy anything.
With the N20 Cola one my TRU didn’t put up the little flyers until about 2 weeks after it started. I lucked out last time and found 2 fresh cases on the shelf-hope I am that lucky this time!
Is there a “Rev 2” of that internal note? That’s from October 23rd, 2008…
We’re going to chance it anyway this morning, and see what we find at TRU — maybe they’ll have the little flyers out today.

it is 6:45 am east coast time and the the 5 for 1 site is still n20 cola. It has not changed over to Creme Filled Gaskets yet.
hey people, i have been out of touch with the site but i have been checking for new updates on the piston cup racers, anything new out yet as far as easy idle or any others from the new launchers list, i have been checking ebay but never seen anything new, and yes i will do the five peg warmers for the gask its car LOL
please let me know if anything new is out as far as the piston cup cars, thanks again guys

I work at a tru and im pretty much the person who puts the special promotions and the new cars one is going to be out as soon as fed ex delivers the materials untill they do its going to be missing.same thing happend for the n2o cola promo when the stuff was delayed for a few days. as for the eligible cars rite nw i have 5 cases (1s wit greta and hank) and the warehouse wont send newer cases untill those r sold out..

Im pretty sure the website will turn over for gaskits tomorrow. im hoping i get the package tomorrow or monday in which case ill b putting out any and all boxes of single packs i have that matches the sku numbers.

The Manager of one of the TRU’s in St. Louis just called me back. He said the only promotion this upcoming week will start Wednesday, March 4, when you can buy 5 Hot Wheels and get a free wrist watch or stop watch or something. I’m going to still check 5for1promotion.com in the morning, but this wasn’t very good news. 🙁
any uk cars fans managed to get the website to send details of how to claim fwd? i always have to phone for my car.
