To be more confusing, the second CARS ‘launcher’ series is changing its name from Wheelers to Lightyear Launchers.

The available CARS-Piston Cup racers hasn’t changed – just the name of the line …

Now called LIGHTYEAR LAUNCHERS …

They should start arriving in the next month or two …

Maybe they felt WHEELERS was too ‘for kids only?’ I haven’t seen one but apparently it’s a round tire shaped launcher …

For those who are collecting the Pit Row Race Off or the Pit Race Off “launchers” (that are not named launchers) … they will continue but apparently as an exclusive … it might be very soon as the last case configuration and listing has been deleted so it does NOT look like CASE C of the Pit Row “launchers” is coming as originally configured.

My guess is it’s not Target but that it’s WM or TRU. I believe the launchers are listed on WM’s new reset but nowadays, betting on retail is like betting on the stock market.

That’s all the info I have now so we’ll just have to wait and see what is really going on.
