My name is pdas1996 and I am 12. I go to school, and live and collect in Indianapolis. I design CARS in MS Paint on a site called CarsTheToys. I am an excellent artist. I have 9 notebooks full of CARS in my house.

When I saw all the ones on the shelf at Target in the toy isle. That was a NASCAR run for me.

BIO?
I am a history teacher and author living in central Alberta, Canada. Â I have two children, Ethan 5 and Kieren 2 who are both into Cars big time. I was the head football coach at the high school for ten years before stepping down when I started a family. Â A huge Seahawks fan even though this was a “lost” year. Â Love fine single malt scotch from Islay and robusto and torpedo sized cigars from Cuba. Â Am also addicted to home theatre and fine film – like Cars!

About a year and half ago.
WHAT WAS THE FIRST CAR YOU GOT?
I bought Lightning McQueen first along with Mater and green Ramone.
HOW LONG BEFORE YOU HAD CAR #2?
After seeing the quality of the diecast Cars and the movie itself, I was hooked along with my kids.
WHEN DID YOU DECIDE/REALIZE YOU NEEDED MORE THAN ONE?
After I opened the first package.
WHEN DID YOU REALIZE YOU HAD TO GO BIG INTO THIS THING?
My wife figured I was hooked/addicted when I spent the money to buy a membership at Hot Wheels so I could buy the Speedway of the South set. Â I always have told her, “It is for the kids!”.
WHAT WAS THE CRAZIEST THING YOU’VE HEARD ABOUT COLLECTING THESE CARS? (NEVER YOU, SOME OTHER PERSON’S CRAZY STORY 🙂 ).
I heard some crazy Canadian actually got a Speedway of the South set but at the time, wasn’t crazy into this yet so he put it up on eBay, sold it for $1500.00 and bought a leather sectional for the new house. Â Only later did he figure out that because of licensing and other variables, some of the Cars like the Apple Car might not be out for a while as a single! Â This crazy Canuck has since acquired 26 of the 36 Cars from the set but figures he would trade the sectional for the SOTS set anytime.
