Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS: Broccoli Thief Steal & Re-Seal
I hate that most of all. When people steal broccoli off the top of my diecast cars … I cannot tell you how many of my diecasts are missing broccoli …
It’s just turrible!
I know some creepy guy is in his house staring at his prized collection of plastic brocolli patches … or worse yet, re-selling them on eBay for THOUSANDS?
And of course, returning the car for full value to the store after yoinking off the shrubbery … is tumbleweed shrubbery? Or is it shrubbery remanent? Oh the humanity …
Okay, the real story from reader Alana V. is actually better 🙂
“On December 23rd, I saw a Tumbleweed McQueen at Toys R Us.  Then I saw another one, but it was missing the tumbleweed.  There was a piece of plastic where it looked like the tumbleweed was started, but not completed.  I did not buy it at the time because I only had enough money for one.  My 3 year old son was with me and he really wanted to open the Tumbleweed McQueen, so I bought the correct one.  The more I thought about it, the more it bothered me that I might have found something unique, but I was going away and could not return to buy it.  Well, believe it or not I went back to the same TRU on January 2nd, and it was still there waiting for me!  Take a look at the attached pictures.  I think they are pretty cool!”
Of course, this is really a future release of McQueen …
