family man, married 3 with 3 kids, My son really loves this movie and all the characters so we started buying them for him, and then I thought it would be nice to join him and collect them as well, and some day when he is much much older,  perhaps children of his own, I will give them to him.

My mother bought him the dinoco 400 set of 8 and it was on clearence at the time and something told me to buy another so I did.

nothing too crazy, just very funny to see everyone including myself awake at the crack of dawn to wait in line to buy toys//never thought I would do something like that but I am.

I am a 39 year old Cars-O-Holic Mother of 5 year old twin boys and am married to my college sweetheart.  I am also an intellectual property consultant and (very small) part owner of several small businesses in the medical/biotech fields.

WHEN DID YOU START?
My boys got their first Cars shortly before the movie came out from a visiting Auntie.  We thought they were cute, but then we saw the movie and fell in love.  My boys were 2 when the movie came out and it was the first movie they watched all the way through.   They even watched the credits and we were the last ones in the theatre when the lights came on.  It was then that I decided to find more of the Cars for them, but had trouble finding them, but kept looking and here we are.

After seeing the movie

We collected everything in wave 1 (I still have the cardback where i checked them off as we got them), then 1.5, then supercharged hit and I found “Two a Day” and it was all over.  Somewhere near the end of Supercharged, I decided to start my own carded collection.

Seeing the line wrapping several times around the Mattel booth at Comicon after already waiting for hours in line to get in, knowing that I promised 20 people I would try to get them LSMQ’s.  As you know, in the end it all worked out, thanks to MET, Martin Arriola and Mattel.

My name is Josh  and I am a sophomore Automotive/Transportation Design student and the Vice President of the Wisconsin Ford Probe Owners Club. My goal is to someday take Chip Foose’s job away from him and to eventually convert my custom Ford Probe to rear wheel drive with the supercharged 4.6L V8 from the 2003-2004 Cobra Mustang. If I could stop spending money on these toys I could have just bought a Mustang by now. Last year I stood outside for 16 hours in single digit temperatures to buy a ticket for the Rose Bowl only to see my Illini get tromped by USC.
