Hello All, My name is Harris and I’m in trouble with my wife for spending so much money on CARS 🙂 Moving right along…I’m 33, love Jazz and appreciates music in general, been collecting Star Wars since I was little, I enjoy my weekly skin bash..been drumming on and off now for 20 years, career wise been in the IT industry for quite some time now(I know what you ‘re thinking, but Im not a tech-head :)). I ‘m married to a very gorgoeus wife and have a cheeky  cute 1 year old boy who will take possession of all the CARS im collecting now…lovin life in general, but you must be if you’re into CARS 🙂

WHEN DID YOU START?
Started lightly when the movie first released, but the heavy addiction started about 12 months ago.

WHAT WAS THE FIRST CAR YOU GOT?
Hamm, cause it represents the year of the PIG when my son was born and plus it was the only car available on the shelve.

HOW LONG BEFORE YOU HAD CAR #2?
probably a week after Hamm….then I realised I’m in trouble.

WHEN DID YOU DECIDE/REALIZE YOU NEEDED MORE THAN ONE?
When I found Met / Takefiveaday.com (previously twoaday)..I often visit the site 5-8 times a day.

WHEN DID YOU REALIZE YOU HAD TO GO BIG INTO THIS THING?
When I saw the movie and Speedway Of The South..I remember staying up until 4 am to buy this online and thinking..geez here comes the haulers, pittys and all other related race crews. Not too mention this mcqueen, that mcqueen 😛

WHAT WAS THE CRAZIEST THING YOU’VE HEARD ABOUT COLLECTING THESE CARS? (NEVER YOU, SOME OTHER PERSON’S CRAZY STORY ).
My wife thinks I’m crazy for spending all this cash on CARS and thinks that I’m so childish, until I showed her some crazy collections of photos, things you guys all do to collect these things.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE CAR?
I must say anything Dinoco is my favourite…I collect single CARS, but I must have eveything that’s got DINOCO written on it. DINOCO IS ALL MINE!

WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR TO ADD TO YOUR COLLECTION?
All the Haulers. Can’t wait to line them up in my son’s display room! oooh and waiting for Mattel to give Australia the same releases as it is in the US (wishful thinking).

HI!im chris,and i am 14 years old.(in march)i am a cars collector!(horray!)i live in a very small town,that the biggest store in it, is dollar general=[. (we had bk and now were losing subway.)so i have to go a half hour to get to the nerest wm.and another half hour (an hour)to the next…at lest the closest one is a supercenter.lol.

well when i woke up the morning of the day i got my cars, my grandma was taking my mom up to walmart to shop, and my mom woke me up and asked if i wanted to go with them,and i almost said no.thank the manufacturer i said yes.lol.anyways…sorry i couldent finish it…run out of time=[going to movies=]

I started on a visit to my family in Oakland in were my cousin told me about the cars. (August 2007) the first cars I bought it on a big sale that Mervyn’s had in Oakland.

As son I got from that trip and since then I have visit 5 target‘s, 3 Wal-Mart’s, 3 toysrus and every weak end I go to them and I ask for any new stuff.

WHEN DID YOU DECIDE/REALIZE YOU NEEDED MORE THAN ONE?

Went I found out the web side “2 ADAY” (REST IN PEASE) and find that there were a lot of cars to come at that moment I was crazy for cars and sinse then I have become crazy about cars and anything that has to do with cars.

WHEN DID YOU REALIZE YOU HAD TO GO BIG INTO THIS THING?

I did not realize that I was going to go big on this because when I realize that I was going some were I had almost 40 cars.

WHAT WAS THE CRAZIEST THING YOU’VE HEARD ABOUT COLLECTING THESE CARS? (NEVER YOU, SOME OTHER PERSON’S CRAZY STORY).

I had to pretend to be a target worker I just put a plane red shit and just start to work like normal and eventually went to the warehouse and I check all of the cars and from that time I collected almost 20 cars. Sorry Target!!!!!!;)

I’m a 52 year old firefighter with 30 years of service. I currently hold the position of Assistant Fire Marshal. What that means is I enforce the fire code and laws for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. I’ve been collection diecast since 1992 and up until now concentrated on Nascar diecast with 1,350 pieces in my collection, most 1:24th scale. In my spare time I enjoy going to Nascar races and playing computer games.

next day our local TRU had a big display and I picked up another 10.

Right away. Being a collector for so long I know that you need one for show and one to stow.

As soon as I saw them going for big money on Ebay.

A friend drove down to Virginia just to get the oversized Marco and Mack.
