Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS: Aroldo Custom Tutorial #1 – Jiggy Mater

Mater with a blue hood and a tow portion that can get all jiggy.

Re-attach solder with tiny screws.
Voila! Jiggy Mater.
You can also make a red hood and perfect logo … okay, I think I lost part of the instructions but I’m sure Aroldo whipped this up while eating breakfast and like Michelangelo (that other Italian artist) once said when asked how you crave a beautiful sculpture from a block of granite … “You just cut away what you don’t want.”
I think that applies here
So, good luck all. I expect your Mater by the end of today.
🙂

🙂

So, thanks again Aroldo Pongetti for another look at your great customs!

How was the hood done?
I’ve wanted to make a few but I never knew how to
He may cut it out from a Brand New Mater or the 2011 Lenticular Chase Mater with Hood… or 3D print one!
