Itch mite up close and personal
Mite-y nice! This little blighter is an itch mite magnified 300x (Eye of Science). This photo shows it on human skin snacking away. The bad news is this little bugger causes scabies. The good news is that affliction is treatable.
I don’t know whether to be more horrified that this little thing can be crawling on your body or that that brown gunk is human skin.
Apparently, dust is comprised of about 70% dead human skin. I hope you had breakfast already.
