Does not seem to be that much interest this time around, or is it just me?

Can't get very excited about buying 7 cars that my son already has just to put in a display. At least Kmart Day 6 had Hi and Lo Ramone. Oh wait! He got released in a singles case about a week before the Kmart "event".

It's definitely not just you, BBM. There isn't a single car to be even remotely excited about.

Miguel and Lewis for me are the new ones. Will probably return the Lewis Launcher I just got for this. I'm relatively "excited" about it, I'd just wish Mattel would put more effort into it, like maybe a K-Mart day for Lemons? I could see Grem, Acer, Petrov, Vladimir, Tyler, Fred, and Victor Hugo as the exclusive. And maybe they would all come with an accesory, like Tyler and Acer with Blowtorch, and Grem with "Camera."

Or even one "surprise" car in the case. I think I'd die of joy the next time I saw a Cars 2 car on the peg that wasn't a variant or repaint of the same cars we've had since May 16th.

Other than the talk in the forums about day 7, I haven't seen anything somewhat official about it. No front page posts, ect. I assume it is still on because someone posted a picture of $5 off deal for the Cars 2 video at K-Mart on that same day.
As far as "new" stuff, the list is shrinking fast for me and my son. It was Miguel, Max, and Lewis. But I found Miguel at Old Navy and Max at Target. We prefer the plastic tires because they don't come off and they work better (faster) on the tracks. So I wasn't going to pass them up. Now we are down to just Miguel and that's it. We will still go because he will enjoy cracking open cases of new stuff even if we only get 1 car. But he should also be able to get some posters or whatever they pack in there.

Our Kmart is still heavily loaded with Day 6 Cars; there were dozens of cases back at the opening day. We would be lucky to have eight of each car sold off in advance.
The top shelf has eight Alive McQueens, piles of the $50 Radiator Springs playset, the three level Garage that includes 6 or 8 cars, all the recent carrying cases and ten car launchers. I think they put them up high because they are so expensive but then customers aren't buying them because of the price or because they are next to impossible to see.

Imagine if all those were new. Basically they are, but if they were all Victor Hugos, Tire Talky Trucks, the Queens, Hudson Hornet Piston Cup McQueens and Mama Topolinos, this Post would be hysterical.

1+3 is my math problem…apparently, the math required guy did not appreciate my low brow humor 🙂
