This is a perfectly good case for a 2 year old who doesn’t have any Cars yet and just saw the movie. But including an exclusive Easy Idle next gen is a total slap in the face to collectors 🙁 Is it really necessary to pawn another Mater, Guido, Luigi, Tex, Sally, Swervez off on us?
I am pretty sure he is not an exclusive but a “first look”…
So the Mattel website (shop.Mattel.com) states this set includes ‘Carlos’ (the early name for ‘Danny Swervez’) and “Crabby” — so ‘Crabby’ must have been the early name for ‘Cigalert’.
(MET: Makes sense – was looking forward to a crab-like CAR – DISAPPOINTED!).
This is the most obscene grouping of unrelated cars. It’s a grab-bag of random ones with one exclusive. For the first two movies at least they waited a couple of years before getting this dumb
Once again, that Amazon 3rd party offer is a pre-order. It lists it won’t be out until late December.
