Can anyone confirm or deny that there was once a third variant of the Showgirl made, one with “eyes centered” (as opposed to “eyes left” or “eyes right” as seen above)? I suspect it may have been a prototype only briefly available from China.
@Laika, someone would likely answer you, but honestly, I have no clue exactly what you are asking about the menu on the DVD.
Pixar released “Mater’s Tale Tales” in the States, it has a fully interactive menu. I can’t speak for other releases, but I know my copy of the “Radiator Springs 500 1/2” DVD that was included with the large scale McQueen toy has no interactive menu.
(MET: I think John H. mentioned he had one with center eyes but never officially released).
No, it is a question I made to Met a few days in another post but he understood another thing, so I tried to clear it to him but I’ve never got his answer so that’s why I’m asking here so he may can see my comment.
I’m talking about the Tokyo Mater sampler DVD which came out long ago: http://www.takefiveaday.com/2010/08/04/mattel-disney-pixar-cars-wrestling-143-cars-in-the-uk-comes-with-tokyo-mater-dvd/
I just want to know if it has an interactive menu or is it just the one from the pics?
I’m going to guess that it does not have any sort of interactive menu, just the choice of language, if even that. The RS 500 1/2 just starts playing after a Disney title block has appeared.
Since there is just one short on the promotional disc, there is no need for a menu of any kind.
Also, why is it important what kind of menu the promotional disc has?
Yeah, I thought the same, that it was just the Language selection, I wanted to know if it had any kind of menu because I was thinking on buy it on ebay but if it has just the short without menu I guess that it’s easier to download just the short from internet than buy the DVD.
Can you tell me if some of the following DVD’s has interactive menu maybe you have some of them and you know…

and there was a “Take Flight” DVD including Air Mater and Moon Mater but I think it was from France and it came with this package. I wonder if it has menu too.

Thanks for your response and maybe you can help me if you have them ๐
Sorry I can’t be of more help, the DVD’s I have are just the two collections of Pixar Shorts, along with the “Mater’s Tall Tales” one.
Ok! Thanks so much for your response and your time!
Wasn’t me. All of our Showgirls look either to the right or to the left.
I’ll never forget our first two Showgirls. My boys were just getting into Cars collecting, they were about four. At Kohl’s they found the Showgirls 3-pack under a display totally smashed; McQueen was missing. Kohl’s sold the two Showgirls to us for .50ยข. Much later on we learned that the missing McQueen was unique to that pack, that’s how we ended up acquiring girls 3 & 4.
Thanks John; I was pretty sure the “eyes centered” was a prototype or back door model, it’s nice to know it’s not just a hard-to-find variant so I can stop looking.
Lightning McQueen must be pleased being surrounded by many Dinoco girls hahaha How do you know that the Dinoco girls are 3 to collect?
And sorry for going off topic again but what I meant is has the Tokyo Mater dvd an interactive menu or is it just the one from the pics?
