Mattel Disney PLANES FIRE & RESCUE Diecast: Muir the Train
It looks like there is a Muir Train coming From Mattel.
So far, all the oversized vehicles have been done to scale by Mattel for PF&R so hopefully, that continues.
The listing is very vague so it’s unknown if we’re getting more than just the steam engine, Muir – maybe the coal car but I doubt it will be more than that but it’s hard to tell.

The DS Muir is awesome! Mattel will have a hard time beating that one.
Maybe Mattel will dust off the Hotline Sizzlers train molds with new Muir body shells! [A battery rechargeable Hot Wheels train set from before you were born… 🙂 ]

Cool!
Interesting, but the ds one will be hard to beat- really nice with the moving parts etc one of my sons favs – would love this to turn out to be a playset with some track etc but wishful thinking!
You know what I’d like to see? Muir treated as a ‘three- or four-pack’ with engine, tender and a passenger car or two. But as a boxed set, not just pegged as oversized. I’d happily spend up to $40 CAD to get a nice diecast train version, or GASP, even a plastic playset with room inside for Cars characters. Diecast engine with plastic passenger car like a hauler has a diecast cab but plastic trailer. But not done el Cheapo. Something with some class and weight to it.
