Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS 2: Kmart Crew Chiefs Close Up + Ordering?
Some nice large size versions of the Crew Chiefs from the Kmart exclusive 2-pack racer & crew chiefs (no real point in showing the racers, as you know essentially what they look like – will the racers in the Kmart 2-packs have different eye positions and expressions? Only time will tell).
In chronological order of release*:

hello john i ordered over 50 orders of the new kmart 2 packs i had placed orders of 6 of each and took advantage of the 5off45 and i did this 50 times to order for each character. i got confirmation of my items shipped and when i recieved i got screwed by the good old “my gopher” system that kmart offers to dump off the store stock. so i had to wait for all my orders to ship to me and then i called the sears corporate offices and talked to adam wollman and told him i wasnt happy and told him i just spent 10000 on kmart days #6 cases and now i just took one in the rear and he was going to look into why they were still on there and why i got bull____!!!!! but i did get a 100.00 gift card for my troubles if you have had this problem like i did here is adam’s number 224-234-3564 call him and make your complaint and i hope we can get enough people to compain and they will finally fix there website and my gopher problems. also the same thing happen to me last year. so it’s quite obvious there arent enough complaints to do anything about it . thanx scott

FYI – I ordered the cars from Kmart.com and as everyone mentioned, I did not receive the cars that I ordered. I received random cars, not even close to the sets I ordered. I guess everyone was right – but you have to learn and see some things for yourself to believe them. Wow – anyone actually had any real luck on this?

Did anybody else place orders for the Chiefs, Fillmore Headset and the Launcher? I have tried an at home delivery and order came with nothing but old stuff; it was all wrong. I tried getting it delivered to store and again all wrong. The wrong UPC codes are matched up with the images is what the in-store Kmart person told me. They showed me their order they got and it matched the UPC codes on the old stuff; not the cheifs. The launcher with no-name ends up being McQueen Launcher.
Today is at least Day 17 that this Bait & Switch scam is still on their website.
ABC’s “Nightline” should bring back Ted Koppel to report on this.
The same thing happened to us. We were trying to figure out if it would be worth going to the event this morning and came across this post, so we went to kmart.com and ordered 4 of the sents (one of each, but not Fillmore) for our son. About 2.5 hours later, we got confirmation that it was ready to pick up. We drove to Redwood City (about 30 mins away) to pick them up and they were just normal 2 packs…so disappointed. They went to check if they had these, but they didn’t. Then they tried to get me a raincheck because they said the sale ended today, but they couldn’t give out rainchecks…so we waited about 30 mins for this whole thing to play out (but at least most of the employees were super nice) and ended up leaving without and told to call the 1-866 number. They didn’t seem to even know about the problem thought…
Just called that number, they don’t know what to do, they said I could order again and risk not getting the right ones, but I don’t want to keep driving out to Kmarts and not getting the correct one…they lady at the 1-866 number knew about the problem, but I guess she can’t really do anything about it. It’s a bit frustrating because we don’t have a Kmart in the area and online obviously doesn’t work. =\ Not sure what to do now….
But I guess on a postivie note, we were able to get Ramone and Nigel for my son, since he didn’t have those 2 and we got him a Jet and a free poster…
My husband says maybe they’ll release Pit Crews and we won’t have to worry about missing out on these…but we’ll see.

I ordered online last Tuesday. I ordered the 5 different crew chief set. I got a confirmation for pick up,I check the list, they put 5 FRancesco and crew chief ready for pick up?????? Went to Kmart for pick up, and as usual WRONG ITEMS, they put aside 5 different 2 packs for me except that its not the crew chief set 2 packs. The order, the confirmation for pick up and the invoice or list of car they have are not all the same!!!
The Manager came by and let him know that it happens all the time ( I think they are aware but don’t even care to do something about it)
Just the latest error in a long consistent terrible, ineffefficent, ridiculous, horrible, nonsensical, unprofessional, inconsiderate, incompetent, arcane online order unfulfillment that is KMart.com.

It’s clear cut. Anyone that has anything to do with filling orders for Kmart online should be fired. There should be consequences for such lousy service. I could fill orders better in my sleep.
I can’t wait until Kmart goes completely under. One Kmart near me is closing and becoming a Target. That works for me.
Someone needs to call in the Harvard Business School to write up a review about Kmart.com.
Sears Kmart on line selling.
Its a completely different dept than the Sear/Kmart Boys toys Buyer.
He is helpful and always answers questions. He referred me to the head person at the on line sales during the Paul Valdez mess and she never responded.
I agree with everyone about the online division dept of Sears/Kmart. They funnel everything through MyGofer , but still this does not account for why the website shows items in stock for sales, when its clear they do not have the product.
Save some frustration, do not click the button to complete the order until you call the 800 number on every order at the top and VERIFY by giving the person the item number. These people will check to see if the product is in the stock rooms or distribution centers.
I called the 800 number before I placed the order. The guy told me that they have them in the warehouse/distribution center and they have it in the stock room . I told him that, Kmart always ship the wrong item, or get the wrong item ready for pick up. I asked him, just in case I order and ship it to me and get the wrong item, can I get my shipping cost back, and he said yes. But then he suggested that, it’s better to pick it up, since I can see the item right away and return it at the same time.
Unfortunately pick up method,did not work for me, and they shipped the wrong item to Jack.
bmw — I cannot believe that you are serious! Do you call companies on EVERY online order you make?
The internet is supposed to have replaced catalog orders and all the time wasted that it takes to call them in, wait on hold, verify colors & sizes, wait on hold again, give them your name, address, & billing information, wait on hold some more, verify the order, etc., etc., etc. And that’s just one phone call! So if they didn’t have you want, then you do it all over again with the next company???
…or maybe you are just saying that to make fun of the hapless Kmart.com?

Funny how it shows a picture of Lewis Hamilton as a launcher but no name next to him on the website. Go ahead and order one and see if you don’t get a McQueen.
It’s Citroën, not Citreon, and it’s a DS, also called “tiburón” (in Spanish), which means shark.
The Alfa, the Beetle and the DS are a definite for me; the Silverado, not so much (unless it *is* John Lassetire!).
With the much smaller number of crew chiefs potentially available, we might collect them this time around. We didn’t even attempt them with all the piston cup racers.
Yeah I think I will wait till I see these in the store before I pull the trigger, but they are very cool.
I called last night when I SAW them on Kmart.com had the order ready for checkout, then reality set in. Gave the on line help lady the item numbers, and she checked. 0 in stock. A few minutes later she came back on the phone after checking the warehouse. 0 in stock. So cancelled my order.
It’s of course a Citroën DS, pronounced déesse in French meaning godess.
Get the Lassetire one for sure… As for the rest… Well maybe the Citroen… Maybe…

These cars are awsome but I will not order from kmart again. They are also selling on ebay for $17.99 in MN . Someone has all 5-2ks selling on ebay . At least I hope he has them on hand & did not order them !!!! He will have some very angry ebay buyers !!

The funny thing is, no one trusts Kmart.com anymore just when they probably will finally get this one right! I’m half-tempted to be the guinea pig!
Does anyone remember Kmart Day #1 when they simultaneously launched new Mini Adventures that day? I wouldn’t be surprised to see some of these Crew Chiefs lying there on June 25 during Kmart Day #6.
Yes – the Kmart 1 event had the nice 18 Car diecast case and cases of minis… I remember a grandmother and her grandson selecting the minis case to pick 5 – when they saw it was the wrong item they were crushed… fortunately the were able to get what they wanted the next round.
I have had issues with several of the Kmart collector event case orders… the worst was ordering 6 cases of Kmart 5 cases and receiving 3 Kmart 5 and 3 Kmart 4 cases… I finally arranged the RMA… and then never received cancellation notice and not the other 3 cases… fortunately I got what I needed in stores and had friends that assisted.
I am going to wait on these 2 packs until I see them in the store – I think we’ll see 2 or more of them at or before the June 25 event.
They fooled me once when I ordered Spy Finn. Fool me twice, nope I won’t get fooled again.
