I bought those and some retro Pepsi as well- for one brief moment, it felt like I was back in the 80’s.
The funny thing is, there’s a Frito-Lay truck I see downtown alot, that still has the old 1980’s back design with the clear hole in the bag. And there’s another that advertises WOW! Potato chips. I thought those were no longer made.
When I lived in Detroit in 1992, a friend of mine mentioned how much she loved these and how much she missed them (I guess they were only available regionally back then). So I called my buddy who just happened to work for Frito-Lay, and he shipped a huge case of them to her. It was so big, I have to wonder if there are still a few left. 🙂
