Thanks for the Case assortment update, Dev & Kmart.com.
NOTE: Pre-order time has CHANGED for SUNDAY
It is now 3 PM CDT or 4 PM EDT, 2 PM MDT and 1 PM PDT (US Time Zones) so plan accordingly.
Order Limit?
3 per order. Since he did not say 3 per address, I’m presuming it’s 3 per order …
International Orders?
“We have developed a solution to the International shipping and credit card problem that we’re rolling out across our websites, unfortunately we weren’t able to get this in place by Sunday, so we’re going to ask International customers to send us their email address and we’ll have a second pre-sell for them that we’ll notify them by email about…”
When the sales goes live in the US, they will have an email address link for international customers.
Coupons?
BTW, if you sign for Kmart’s weekly emails, they will send you two coupons – one for $5 off online and one for $5 off in-store (both with $50 minimum purchase). WARNING – the two coupon expire fairly quickly so you will NOT be able to use the in-store coupon after 24 hours so you cannot use it on the in-store CARS day in 3 weeks.
If you want a coupon to use in-store only – do NOT sign up the Kmart email until 10/16 to be absolutely certain it will NOT expire.
You will then get an email like this …
As you can see, the online coupon is good for a week but the in-store coupon expires in 24 hours.
We do not have a direct link yet but THIS SUNDAY, at the times listed above – the link at kmart.com will go live for the special Kmart-only exclusive rubber tires Piston Cup racers case.
Each case is $95.76 (or 24 X $3.99).

Basically the case is full of rubbish.
the only good car is N2o and Vinyl Toupee and thats it !

And the update includes that KMart will have info on the website on Sunday for International Collectors who want to preorder.

Looks like there is no reason to preorder, OR to get to the store early on the 17th. Thanks Mattel for making our collecting much easier!

I think that’s a wise decision on Kmart’s part. Eliminate competition from Ebay resellers who want to make a buck on people who just can’t wait for the actual event, AND probably greatly increase the number of people who will actually attend the in-store event since they won’t get the case any sooner doing a pre-order.

If we buy the case online can we return individual cars to the store? Due to dance and soccer we can’t make this one, but I don’t want the 5 “messed up ones” (as my 3yr old calls them).
The Kmart store is going to wanted a printed copy of your Kmart.com order, and I don’t think they’ll allow you to break up the case. From what I’ve heard, they would require the entire case to be returned, not a partial return, so I wouldn’t risk it….most stores are going to have plenty of leftovers.

Why is your info more accurate than Met’s? Did he not thank Dev up there for the info? Where is you intel coming from?
(MET: (From a certain company in El Segundo) I received a list that shows the 5 lenticulars that I listed and the non-lenticular rubber wheels Piston Cup racers. As noted in the first post that listed the 5 CARS, I specifically said I cannot say if the list is 100% accurate but Dev’s note today confirms it – NEXT to Yellow Ramone & Brand New Mater are the words, NEW TO MARKET … and yes, technically and legally speaking lenticular Yellow Ramone and lenticular Brand New Mater are NEW to the marketplace … yes, I think we all agree as humans that ‘new’ in this case does not give us reason to dance in the street … you might have other reasons but … so there you are … I’m not claiming that I would swear on my life that the other three are lenticulars: Lightning, Chick Hicks and Sheriff but they are on the ‘official’ list info a company that starts with M and has a starburst logo in red so you can judge that for what it’s worth or not worth 🙂 ).
My intel comes from Dev.

It states that there are Kmart Exclusive cars that are NON Lent, then continues that the RACERS are Kmart Exclusives….MEANING that the RACERS only are NON Lenticular!
Then is says that Brand New Mater and Yellow “Refresh” Ramone are NEW to MArket….unless they are Googly Eye, they are NOT NEW to market
AND…who is Truck Fresh… This list is not complete, as there are still 3 missing, and it is said that they are three High Demand Cars…
