and i still have a few with “identity crisis” – stupid packaging errors….
I call mine “Swine Flu McQueen”.
Yea, this mutation of RS McQueen is now pandemic.
We ran into our first sighting of “lenticulars” at one of our Walmarts on Saturday…………big surprise, someone had made off with the “Saluting Sarge” offerings, looked like there might have been 2 cases put out. No real interest in the others, so we left empty handed.
Damn Collectors!

I must admit, a buddy of mine called and found the lenticulars…I had him pick me up a single LM jsut for the novelty of it…I don’t plan on collecting them all..(Of course, that’s what I said when my son received his very first 2 years ago at a birthday party)…a billion cars later, here I am, Sunday morning, drinking my coffee, chatting on this website..

Oh good… maybe walmart will clear out all the RaceORama pink McQueens here so these can take their place…..
“Pink Eye” McQueen. Well, that confirms my suspicions Mattel just stuck ‘googly’ eyes over existing castings. Now I’m waiting for further confirmation when the McQueens with the error spoiler continue to roll out on the assembly line. Mattel is trying to “refresh” dead fish. Get the collector to continue to buy the same character rather than introduce new character Cars. I’m sure Cars II will have McQueen dreaming or having flashbacks of Cars I. That way Mattel can repackage Cars I castings into another version of cardbacks.
My daughter referred to that one as “Pink McQueen” when we saw it in the store…so of course she had to have one.
I call him “CARrie”.
